I’m not really a girly girl at all — I leave all of that to Emily. I don’t wear pearls, I rarely wear lace, I don’t do bows. I also wouldn’t consider myself a tomboy either — even though there are few things in this world I care about more than 49ers football. People always ask us what our style is. And I kind of hate that. Let me explain…
I don’t like categorizing myself in one way or another. Especially when it comes to fashion. My taste is always evolving, I get bored easily and move onto new trends, 90% of my closet is black, I like to be comfortable. One thing that is always true when it comes to my style, I love a good statement piece. Whether that is an unexpected bomber jacket, a choker, a bold lip, over accessorizing, or an amazing pink trench — I always like to have a little edge to my outfits.
I love that this jacket is effortless, yet dramatic at the same time. The pink color adds some freshness to the outfit and I know it’s going to make layering more fun. It has been freezing in San Francisco, which means I don’t have to wait for fall to start wearing it!
If you’re like me and normally don’t go for the ultra-feminine look, I chose to balance that out with these leather leggings, and some over the knee boots. It adds a little more “me” to the outfit. I also can’t wait to wear this with my boyfriend jeans and some sneakers!
