When I told my friends at Zappos about my Italy trip, they were kind enough to share one of their favorite luggage brands with me! I have never carried a Travelpro bag before, and was super excited to test out all of its features and specs!

Platinum Magna (seen at airport)
I’m not a good packer, never have been. In fact, I am lucky enough to have a girlfriend who helps me every time I have a trip coming up. I wouldn’t have made it to or from Fashion Week this year without her. This is definitely the biggest trip I have ever taken in my life, so the anxiety around the packing was higher than usual.
I know that may sound so silly, but I just want to make sure I bring all the right things, and of course, leave room for some shopping. I learned that lesson the hard way in Paris when both of my parents were stashing the various items I purchased throughout their own bags.
I picked out two pieces from Travelpro, the one I actually took on the trip was the Platinum Magna 2. I wanted to share both with you because I think they’re both great in different ways — of course dependent on where you’re going and for how long.
The other bag is the Maxlite 4. This bag would be perfect for a longer weekend, or a trip when you don’t have to bring as many outfits as I brought to Italy.
As you know, comfort is huge for me — especially when I’m traveling. If I weren’t a blogger, I would have packed only jean shorts, tees and casual rompers. Especially for Rome, where we will be doing the majority of our walking and exploring. But since becoming a blogger, I have to think about content creation not just what is comfy. That being said, I brought A LOT of outfits. The Platinum Magna made packing a breeze. Everything fit without having to refold, maneuver, or rearrange anything.
The wheels on the bottom made getting my bag to and from the airports and into the hotels effortless. I know I’m not the only one who has had a suitcase with a jammed wheel — it’s the worst! The outside flap has organizers in there to store electronics, books, travel documents — or in my case, shoes. And the interior of the luggage has these amazing zippered pockets which made packing all of my intimates and swimsuits super easy!
I don’t want to reveal too much more about what I packed — you’ll just have to wait and see! I can’t wait to share my whole trip with you guys! Make sure you’re following along on Instastories.
I’m so happy to have discovered Travelpro — it took so much of the packing pain away!
